Sam had just picked up their order of feed for the horses and was headed down the road towards home. Well, kinda home Sam thought to himself It's not where I live but it feels like home The drawl of Toby Keith was set to an easy volume in his old beat up Tacoma as he drove, enjoying the last bits of winter. Everything was starting to look like spring already but that cool colorless sky was nothing but the winter he knew and loved well. He drove past a hay field that looked like it was just recently cut and the bales loaded to be sold when he thought he saw some fog. Without warning the fog turned into a horse look a like, it even swung it's head up! He hit the breaks (not quite squealing as he was driving pretty slowly) and jumped out of the truck.

The horse looked like a ghost, no color but the flash of black skin dark hooves and the bright brown eyes that looked at him lazily. Wow, what a pretty horse, he looks like he's been away from home for a while but he's too clean to be a wild... Sam started towards him and the horse looked at him with curiosity. "Hey buddy, it's all good. What are you doing in that farmers field? He'd shoot ya if he saw you in there boy" As Same got closer he noticed it was a SHE not a HE "Sorry there pretty lady, wanna come here?" he reached into his pocket to see if he had any goodies, "I think I've got a mint with your name on it"

At the sound of the word mint the mare looked up a little more lively and started walking towards him. As she reached him she nickered ever so softly and nuzzled his hand that was still in his pocket. " I'm tryin' darlin' hold on. Here we go" He reached out with a mint in his hand and she took it gently. as she looked over his shoulder munching,watching another car roll by he noticed she had a brand on her neck. SSH016? That's an odd brand. Well honey doll, want to come home with me and figure out who you belong to?

This is going to be ( I hope) a neat little mini story for the stable though and I can't wait to get going with this pretty mare! This is the only information I have for her

And on her import pic she's literally ALL white BUT if she's a black based grey then she'd have dark skin, hence adding that to her and darkening her main JUST a tiny bit. In future pictures you won't be able to tell as much.

ALSO first time in a long time I've tried to draw without a reference, I think it could have been worse though the more I look at it the more I hate it future pictures also will be better quality!

And I just realized this was the last day for the picture deadline as well. Lucky me
