UDSS 8 Kripa and Caelum's Days

Ever since their first meeting Caelum and Kripa have been inseparable; when one was grazing at one end of the pasture, the other was either checking something out quickly and on their way to the other one or talking CONSTANTLY in their heads to each other. Caelum found himself really enjoying Kripa's company though he wished to find his own kind sometimes. They really helped each other out though.
I wish I could do MORE with my magic, being able to handle extreme temperatures is great and all but I can just feel that I'm supposed to be doing more! Caelum ranted to his his mare-friend. I can feel the power, but I just don't know how to do anything with it. It's infuriating to just know without a doubt that you can do some great things but you just don't know what to do. It's like being the fastest racehorse and not know how to gallop!! He quit while he was ahead. He didn't want to upset Krypt, this was just something that gnawed at him constantly. And that wasn't the only thing...

Kripa listened carefully to her friend's troubles. Granted she didn't know much about how to get back to where she belonged but at least she could control her powers to some degree. She was still learning. She knew she could create plants but what was hard was remembering what molecules did what to the different parts. Her first couple of flowers looked a bit... silly to say the least (think a tulip shape with daisy petals and the color of a blue poinsettia)

I wonder if he knows that I'm here to help, like REALLY here... I know we could never really be together but I really do think I'm starting to love him... He's so strong and responsible, yea he has his moments where he breaks down but I'm the only one he will do this around and rather then it being a turn off it makes me fall for him more because he's showing himself to me more... I must be insane...

Caelum, relax, we'll figure out these things together. You've got to work for it like I have to work towards getting back home where I belong. And by all the powers of Zeus I WILL get back home. We can work on these things together, you'll see it won't be as hard when there are two of us

He sat there for a moment and just thought. This little mare has COMPLETELY different powers then I do and she can already use them better then I could use mine anyway! How does she think she's going to help me?

His rational mind came back to him for a second: Caelum, take a deep breath, just breathe. This is your best friend, being a friend. You can freak out but you need not scoff at her for wanting to be there for you. You should be forever grateful for this little filly being in your life.

Thanks Krypt, I know you're here for me. I just wish I was as good with my powers as you are with yours. One of these days I know I'll get there but I hate this waiting around for things, I really do ...

Kripa looked up at him and gave a little snort, You silly colt! Always counting all your foals before you even have your mares. Just take a step back and gather yourself. Everything comes in due time, you'll see that. With that the mare put her nose to the grass and all around her sprouted new flowers and the grass got a bit greener and healthier. Here, for you. I made them to match your eyes my friend She looked up at him and watched as he saw her gift to him and saw how happy that made him, how it brought him back down to earth with her. She realized she had been staring at him for too long and knew her face wasn't hiding her feelings well so she reached back down to eat some of the greener grass.
Well Caelum, they always did say the grass is greener on the other side but this grass seems perfect for me!</b>

I can't wait to draw or write more about them honestly. I have a bit of a twist that comes up eventually (a charmi owners knows what I'm talking about ) And I can't wait to get to it.
