UDSS C- Striker Comes Home

"Get them babe! Oh quick down a little, to the left! Ya there oh cool you shot the wing off!" Lore was having fun watching Brandon play his video games, Call of Duty or something like that was on their PS2 and little tv in their living room. It was a funny sight: Brandon at the edge of the couch wrapped up in his game with little Lore wrapped around him laying on the couch behind him enthralled by the game. "Oh babe that one exploded!" she shouted. Brandon kept turning the volume up and she couldn't tell why.


buzz bzzzz. bzbzbzbz buzz bzzzz. "Oh my phone," Lore jumped up and scooped her phone off the coffee table. "Hello?" … "Kit hey! How's it going?" … "Oh that's terrible I'm so sorry, where are you going to put them?"… "Well ya we still have room…"  

Brandon looked up from his game apprehensively. "Babe… what are you getting us into now?"

Lore waved a hand at him to tell him to hush she was trying to listen. "Ok ya, send him over! Since he's so young we can start training him right away, maybe get him into some shows." … "Yeah yeah it's all good. Ok talk to you later. You Too, Bye." She shaped her phone shut. "Baaabyyyy, how much do you love me?"

"Who just gave you what now?" Brandon sighed, his game completely forgotten.

"That was Kit, her horse Striker, the baby of Smoke's that she took with her, and Akina, Fletcher's filly,  they can't stay up north. It's too cold for them and they keep getting sick. They're just not good going from Florida all the way up there. Sooooo… he's coming to live with us!"

"Oi… you're lucky I love you," Brandon sighed as he got up and turned the TV and PS2 off. "What do we need to do?"

"I am so so so lucky that you love me!" Lore jumped up and ran to get her boots on. "We're gonna go clean out a couple stalls!" She jogged back to Brandon to give him a big kiss, "I Love you baby."

"I love you too," he gave her a small hug. "Now come on."
